WOD: Tabata Thursday!
It’s Thursday and of course it’s time to get our Tabata on!
Tabata is an intense exercise, similar to HIIT, centered around “all out” exercises for short durations, usually around 10- 20 seconds, with 10 seconds of rest in between.
Each session lasts from 8-10 rounds and usually lasts no more than 12 minutes. These short yet intense workouts increase lean muscle mass, increase your metabolism as well as your anaerobic and aerobic endurance. It’s seriously no joke and neither are their results. With Tabata workouts, you can expect increased metabolic rates for fast and effective fat loss. Much more effective than hours running on the treadmill!
